As we read the scriptures together every day, I was thinking … How many people do you see on the subway or on the bus on their way to work reading the Bible? How many people at your school, office, or job site actually take out 10-15 minutes per day to read the scripture?
It’s a very impacting statement when someone displays their Bible in the most unexpected places. You know how it goes…. Heads turn. Some people feel uncomfortable. Some might even mock us.
But here is something to think about…
Rather than just letting the world “see” the Bible you are reading, allow them to see the effect of the WORD you are reading through your actions, your words, your character, your walk.
LET THEM SEE WHAT YOU READ !!

You are absolutely right Brother Bert!
Most often than not people will bend their heads to look at the cover of any Christian book I’m reading, or will lean in and browse as I’m reading my word. It is more effective than handing out a tract. So many times I find a commuter reading the book “Lovely Bones” or Twilight series or some occult book so why not read our bibles with pride?
